Treating wastewater, so it is safe to be returned to the environment, can cost as much or more than providing safe drinking water. Wastewater services being provided 365 days a year requires certified operators and must meet the EPA and Colorado Department of Health and Environment’s stringent regulations. So, that’s why every residential customer pays a sewer base rate charge on their monthly water bill.
Residential Sewer Rates (Effective January 1, 2023)
Sewer Base Rate: $113.97
(Minimum Daily Sewer Rate: $1.90 per day)
